Work on Tracker from your AI app.
Copying ticket details into a chat window and pasting the answer back loses time and context. Connect an AI app that supports MCP, such as Claude Code or Codex, and it reads and updates your Tracker records directly, with your permissions, in the workspace you choose.
A command or two and a sign-in. No code to write.
On Starter and Pro, including the 14-day trial. No credit card needed.

> Move the Stonebridge deal to Proposal and note that we sent the quote.
I moved Stonebridge Engineering’s customer portal rebuild (#2341) from Qualified to Proposal and added a “Quote sent.” comment to it. It’s the only open Stonebridge deal; the other five are marked Lost.
Its due date is still October 21, which has passed, and the deal’s description still says the update to Clara Webb has slipped. Do you want me to set a new due date or update that text?
> Remind me to call Clara Webb on Monday about the contract.
I added a to-do to call Clara Webb at Stonebridge Engineering about the contract, due Monday, November 2 (#310). It links back to the customer portal rebuild deal (#2341).Connected in three steps
You need a Tracker account on Starter or Pro, or a trial of either.
- 01
Add Tracker to your AI app
Run the command below for Claude Code or Codex. In other AI apps, add a remote MCP server with the address
https://tracker.18cores.com/mcpand choose OAuth if asked. - 02
Sign in and choose a workspace
Your browser opens Tracker. Sign in, choose the workspace the app may work in, and approve.
- 03
Ask in plain words
Ask what is overdue, what changed this week, or to move a ticket to Waiting with a note for the customer.
$ claude mcp add --transport http --scope user 18cores https://tracker.18cores.com/mcp
# then, in Claude Code: /mcp → 18cores → approve in your browser$ codex mcp add 18cores --url https://tracker.18cores.com/mcp
$ codex mcp login 18coresWhat your AI app can do
Find and read
List and search records, and read any record with its comments, step history, and contact. Read notes and your todos, and see the workspace’s steps, categories, and products.
Create and update
Create records, add comments, move work to its next step, assign it, and set its priority, due date, and contact. Write notes and todos.
What it cannot do
It cannot delete records or notes. It works only in the workspace you approved, and only with the permissions you have there.
From ticket to fix.
Customers report bugs in plain words. Your AI app reads the tickets, finds the cause in your code, fixes it with a test, and marks each ticket Fixed with a note on what changed.
# Three tickets in Tracker, reported by customers:
# #2476 Booking form rejects email addresses with a plus sign
# #2477 Booking confirmation shows the day before the date we picked
# #2478 Booking deposit shows $15.299999999999999
> Let's work on the booking form bugs in Tracker. Check the code and tell me briefly which ones are quick fixes.
(Its notes on #2476 and #2478 scroll past; the end of the answer reads:)
Effort: About two lines. This also changes whole-dollar amounts from $60 to $60.00, so the existing test needs updating.
Issue: #2477 Confirmation shows the day before
Cause: src/format.js:4 reads a date-only value like '2026-11-06' as midnight UTC. US time zones are behind UTC, so it shows as Nov 5.
Fix: Read date-only values as a local date. Full date-and-times, which the existing test uses, already work.
Effort: About three lines. It's still quick, but I'd want to confirm what the form actually sends here.
I checked the cause of each bug by running the code in a US Eastern time zone. All three bugs could go out together as one 1.4.3 patch with a test for each. Want me to go ahead?
> Go ahead: fix them, run the tests, and mark each one Fixed in Tracker with a comment. Then sum up in two lines.
All three bugs are fixed, and all 8 tests pass in four time zones. #2476, #2477 and #2478 are now marked Fixed in Tracker with a comment on each.
The changes aren't committed or released yet, and whole-dollar deposits now show as $60.00 instead of $60.Things to ask
Customer support
“Which tickets have waited longest for a reply?” “Move ticket 214 to Waiting and add a note that we asked for a screenshot.”
Sales
“Which opportunities in Proposal are past their due date?” “Add a comment to the Stonebridge opportunity: they meet their board on Thursday.”
Bug tracking
“What is the highest-priority open bug?” “Summarize what moved to Fixed this week.”
Projects
“What is in Review, and who owns each task?” “Create a task to update the onboarding guide, due Friday.”
The sessions, as text
Recorded on October 30, 2026 in Claude Code, connected to a demo organization on tracker.18cores.com with fictional people and companies.
Setup, once
$ claude mcp add --transport http --scope user 18cores https://tracker.18cores.com/mcp
Added HTTP MCP server 18cores with URL: https://tracker.18cores.com/mcp to user config
In Claude Code, /mcp, then 18cores, then Authenticate. Tracker opens in the browser to sign in, choose the workspace, and allow the connection. Claude Code: “Authentication successful. Connected to 18cores.”

From ticket to fix: the tickets
#2476 Booking form rejects email addresses with a plus sign. I tried to book with lena+bookings@juniper-learning-center.example and the form said “Enter a valid email address.” — Lena Ortiz, Juniper Learning Center
#2477 Booking confirmation shows the day before the date we picked. We booked for Friday, November 6 and the confirmation says Thursday, November 5. — Owen Park, Harborlight Analytics
#2478 Booking deposit shows $15.299999999999999. Booking three seats at $5.10 each shows a deposit of $15.299999999999999. It should say $15.30. — Mei Moore, Silverline School District
